Psychology at National-Louis University brings a multicultural and developmental perspective to Undergraduate (B.A.), Graduate (M.A.) and Graduate (PhD)- Community Psychology degree preparation for careers in business, education, health, government, social service and nonprofit organizations. The Psychology Faculty bring specialization and scholarship to the four concentration areas around which Psychology Programs are organized: Human Development, Cultural and Community Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Health Psychology.
Courses for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree are offered at NLU campuses and online. The Master of Arts in Psychology degree is offered in a cohort format, whereby students may attain a master's degree in six quarters by attending class at an NLU campus one night a week.
Courses for the Doctorate in Community Psychology are offered in a cohort format, whereby students enter the program with a masters degree and may attain PhD degree in 11 quarters by attending classes at the Chicago Campus one night a week.
In addition to B.A., M.A. and PhD. degrees, Undergraduate and Graduate Certificates may be pursued for the purposes of exploration, enrichment, or additional professional preparation in Psychology.
